Scott Van Dorn joins Board to further develop and guide HPEV’s mobile generation and vehicle strategy
(Tampa, FL: March 19, 2014) HPEV, Inc. (OTCQB:WARM), an innovator in energy efficiency and heat removal technologies, announced today that longtime automotive and design exec Scott Van Dorn has joined its Strategic Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is an integral part of HPEV’s overall strategic business plan and Van Dorn will advise and open doors for the Company in the Mobile Generation and Ultimate Work Truck marketplace with regard to product guidance and customer development.
Van Dorn is an accomplished veteran of more than twenty years in global engineering and management in vehicles, engines, electronics and design for large scale commercial applications. Currently, Van Dorn is the Engineering Director at Navistar Corporation, a global manufacturer and the market leader in Heavy Trucks, Buses and Military Vehicles in North America with a strong global presence. He is responsible for product definition, investment & engineering of Medium Duty, Bus & Severe Service new product programs. Prior to Navistar, Van Dorn worked in various capacities with Ford Motor Company for nineteen years including leading Ford’s largest and most profitable vehicle program in Europe. Additionally, Van Dorn served as Ford’s Chief Engineer and Senior Manager for the high volume F-Series line in addition to other product lines.
